How to have peace of mind and stress free?

As a Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist I find many people want to discover their own tools for their own relaxation whether they are at work or home, repetition of a mantra or words such as ‘calm’ really helps the mind relax, also doing seven/eleven breathing.

Having an angry mind makes us feel stressed (I know because that used to be my default button)-so how to stop getting angry? Well, being attached to how everything should go in our life is a good recipe for anger; so being in the moment allows you to find the peace within.

Have you ever felt the stress of wanting to be somewhere else but couldn’t get there? A good antidote to that is acceptance of our situation, and giving ourselves time……..

Having patience in the car, (for example when stuck in a traffic jam) helps stress levels- we can think –‘all these people in their cars are just like me, wanting to be at our destination-we can see this wait in the car as an opportunity to breathe and repeat our chosen words such as ‘calm’
